بیوگرافی

As a university teacher, I have gained valuable experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and leading discussion sections in general linguistics as well as phonetics and phonology. I have also developed and taught undergraduate courses in Teaching Persian as a second language including Persian Reading, Writing and Listening.

In addition to classroom instruction, I have advised MA and PhD students on appropriate research topics related to phonetics and phonology and edited and evaluated their works.  Based on student evaluations I have been listed once among the top 5 percent of teachers rated at Imam Khomeini International University. Also, I have earned the Best Researchers Award three times in my academic career at IKIU. 

I have a very solid technical knowledge and I impart them to students. At my current workplace, I am tasked with the following duties:

Teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate students

Teaching Persian as a second language to speakers of other languages

Create and plan lessons and curriculum

Conduct research and publish papers in academic journals

Provide professors and, the department head with feedbacks on student progress

Write proposals to secure funding for research
